Almost too good for a quick stay.

Cozy room, very clean bathroom, nice pool. Very close to the highway, thus ideal to use as a transit hotel to the south.

Chumpon does not have much to offer.

Very nice and relaxing

The bed was very comfortable . The shower was great everything clean the pool was a good temperature Breakfast was good . English breakfast was good but no bacon.

The tiles around the pools were loose and needed repairs. They had old scooters to rent but after we rented one they took them away.

We loved staying here! We found our stay to be great value for money, and in general we think that Chumphon is such an u

The staff is absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and helpful when we had to book transport to our next travel destination. They even offered to heat our meals one evening when we couldn’t be bothered to go out to eat and instead has bought some food from 7/11 (which is surprisingly delicious compared to Danish 7/11 food) and then brought the food to our room. Such a nice gesture and it made us feel very at home. They furthermore insisted that they helped us with renting scooters and brought them to the hotel (without charging us extra), which was lovely so we didn’t have to find a shop ourselves and they took care of everything so all we had to do was pay and drive! Also, the pool is great and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Breakfast is good too.

While the interior is modern which is a plus, the cleaning could and should be upgraded a bit. The drawers in the closet needed a small cleaning and some of the surfaces could benefit from a bit more thorough clean as well.

Very Good

We only stayed 1 night and the room was big and bathroom was very clean with big shower. We had to leave hotel next morning at 5.15am to catch 7am ferry to Ko Tao and the reception organised a packed breakfast which was amazing!

amazing breakfast!

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be in central Chumphon. Nothing fancy but comfortable and clean with a nice pool. The breakfast was a real highlight, the best we had in Thailand! It was also fantastic they offered the full breakfast very early when catching early flights.

The corridors have a hospital/institutional feel but that is a minor detail

Was meant for a stopover from Bangkok to Sadao, Wish had more time here.

Location is good and easily accessible to shops , night markets and train stations. Parking is great too. The staff are there for you and the pool is great to just do nothing and relax

good location but not enogh staff to support guest especially maintenance for bahtroom facilities.

Clean rooms, very good value.

Clean rooms, very good value. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Neighboring coffee shop and restaurant recommendable. Organization to the boat to Koh Tao the next day worked flawlessly, even packed breakfast although the pick up came already at 05:30 am.

Rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was very eager to help or get help with language barrier. At first I was a little surprised how small the overall place was but it was charming, easy to get to places from and their service was wonderful. Always made sure we had fresh water or access to it. The breakfast was a diverse buffet of Thai, Chinese, and continental. After a weekend on Koh Tao I booked a different hotel a little closer to my daughter's apartment and quickly regretted not returning to A-Te.

Nothing in the Hotel - the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was very accommodating and food was good too.

The only thing positive was check-out!

Pool definitely out of order, it was green and smelled very bad. Very bad internetconnection. No pricelist for "minibar"(4 different drinks and one chocolatebar) we paid way too much for our beverages and couldn't give a receipt Maybe a nice hotel when it opened, but they never cared for it!

Sad! Owner is letting nice hotel fall apart.

The fried eggs were ok. The building of the hotel was once nice but the owners take no pride. There are grass and weeds in vegetation. The hallways are dirty with falling down pictures. The dining area has these terrible triangle shaped chairs with tables that don’t allow you to put your feet under. The room had damage to the tables. The bed was hard as a rock. They provided the worst pillows I’ve ever had. The pillows were solid like what’s used in a prison. The staff was slow lifeless and uninterested in helping. It’s clear the owner doesn’t care about maintaining the property. It’s very sad because at one time it was a nice hotel. The restaurant was dirty

The beds, the room, the staff, the food, the hallways all needed upgrades. The location is terrible. Poor quality breakfast. Seriously nearly everything needed to be improved. Whomever manages this hotel should feel shame.
